I played this course on a late Saturday afternoon. It took over 3 hours for the front 9. Fairways were in great shape but the greens where awful.

the yellow course is the easiest of the five courses at Bethpage State Park. It's the easiest to walk which i did. No water hazzards but plenty of trees border wide fairways. Pace of play was 4.5 hrs on warm sunny May day. Parking lot was full due to High School championships being played on the other courses. Used the reservation system to book tee times with a perfect on time start.
